Our CEO finds a new home

Did you know that Wubud is spread across 5 countries, 2 timezones and 3 languages? Well, it is. And now Paul is flying the corporate banner from our new base in Soho, London.

You might have read it here first. He’s now sharing an office with Alex Tew (milliondollarhomepage.com) and Paul Birch (Bebo, Birthday Alarms and Cominded).

Paul is excited about the move. He loves being around such creative likeminded people.

Everyone in the office is currently working on social network-related projects, so you can only imagine the creative juices flowing around with the exchange of ideas to help make each other’s product that bit better.

Since he’s the new kid on the block Paul will most likely try and push the bounderies. Today he shares the bean bag with Alex while hatching a cunning plan to “Make it mine”. Mind you, Tewy looks comfy, so Walsh might have a fight on his hands.

Little do they know what they’ve let themselves in for. Only last week they got a sample of Walsh’s playlist. He was on fire, ubber cool. However when the lads questioned his taste… James Blunt, Rick Ashley and Celine Dion - Paul tired to fob it off as my playlist. No truth there what so ever… rock on Metallica.

Paul will bring some flare to the office (almost guaranteed the morning after), at time’s he’ll have fantastic ideas, for example “guys its 6:30, fancy a pint”. Over said pints an issue will be presented which is likely to turn into a brainstorming session. Obviously this will all occur while Paul is at the bar. On his return they’ll change the conversation back to being about him :)

The benefits of this move include Paul being close to everyone for “impromptu” meetings (lunch) meetups (beers) and business meetings (more beers).

Today he sits in the dark corner, tomorrow he’ll have that window seat, along with the best chair. For now the boys have someone to fetch the coffee :)
